Most people see visions of swarms of tiny insects all over their home when you bring up the subject of ants. Once ants have made their way inside it can be almost impossible to get rid of them. Many homeowners try several different methods for removing ants and then simply give up. The best way to deal with ants is to prevent them from entering your home in the first place. You must immediately destroy any ant hill or mound you see around your home or in your garden. One simple and effective way to do this is with boiling water.

Using the Hot Water Treatment Water is very effective at removing all types of insects from your home. Ants do not have the capacity to survive in water, especially when it is hot. Using hot water on an ant mound can destroy the entire colony, as they will not be able to survive the rise in temperature. Hot water will also break down the colonies which are made from dirt and mud. You can destroy large colonies of ants with one application of boiling water as the entire colony will be destroyed and the ants will be killed.

Using boiling water allows you to get rid of the ant problem with one simple application. Since boiling water is not harmful to humans you are not limited in how much you can use as you would be with pesticides. Using boiling water is also incredibly simple as it does not require any special materials, equipment, or tools. All you need to do is bring the hot water up to 160 degrees to 170 degrees Celsius and then immediately pour it over the ant mound. It will instantly kill the ants and destroy the colony.

You can completely eliminate ants from your home by using the hot water treatment. This is one of the safest and easiest ways of destroying ant mounds, especially when they are large.
