Ant Removal and Control

Eliminate Ants in Only Five Days

One treatment is usually not enough when you have a serious ant infestation.

One treatment is usually not enough when you have a serious ant infestation. This is when you would need to implement a comprehensive control program over several days. Usually it will take at least five days for any program to work. You can design your own ant elimination program, using various treatments each day to get maximum results. Doing this will not only eliminate the ants you can see, but also get rid of the next generation of ants that are waiting to invade your home.

Five Day Program Overview:
On your first day you will need to determine which types of ants you have and evaluate the severity of your infestation. You will want to locate the ant nest and eliminate the queen ant on this first day. Look for all the various entry points that the ants are using to come into your home. Use the strongest pesticide available to kill as many ants as possible, including the queen, on this first day. Make sure you treat every entryway that you have discovered in your search. The second day should be used to assess the effectiveness of your first efforts. On the third day attack any remaining ants with a natural remedy. The ants will have been weakened by your first attack and will not need a strong pesticide. You will have killed all the major ants, including the queen, by this third day. On the fourth day you will want to scare away any left over ants by using another treatment. On the fifth day you will want pour hot water over the colony or nest. Cover the nest with either baby powder or borax and spices so that the ants do not return.

Helpful Treatments You can use a variety of natural deterrents, spices, borax, and pesticides during the five days of treatment. Continuing treatment for five days will ensure that your ants do not return.
